"One" Smart Ring. For the inner values.
Strikingly unobtrusive – the Hama "One" Smart Ring keeps you up to date. You decide when the smart ring vibrates: by adjusting your preferences in the "Hama Active" app and taking into account mobile phone settings such as "Do Not Disturb", "Bedtime" and so on. This makes it easier for you to focus on what really matters in real life – without your phone, that attention-grabbing distraction, sitting on your desk or bedside table.
Vibration notification feature
When a smart watch alerts you, it takes a great deal of willpower to resist the urge to glance at the watch’s display. But do you really have to know everything straight away? The notification via smart ring vibration makes it easier for you to stay focused and only check your mobile afterwards. Or are you waiting for a call but don’t want to put your mobile on loud? Cinema, a meeting or a romantic meal: you’re in the know and can act when the opportunity arises – and you don’t have to keep checking. That way, you’re always in the loop, but only you get to know about it.
Just feel your notifications without looking at your phone. For example, you can receive notifications via your smart ring – of course, all fully customisable:
Contacts
- Incoming calls
- Messenger
- Appointment reminders
Abnormal health readings
- High or low heart rate
- Low blood oxygen saturation (SpO2)
- Elevated temperature (fever)
Reminders
- Take medicine
- Drink enough water
- Alarm clock, alarm, timer function
The design: elegant, timeless, subtly clever
However much technology the Hama "One" Smart Ring may contain, its exterior has an elegantly understated look. A sturdy stainless steel ring with no frills – perfect for any everyday situation, from relaxed to stressful to health-conscious and active. The high-quality matt finish in black or glossy silver complements your outfit for any occasion.
The clue: the smart ring actually goes wonderfully with a deliberately analogue style, which would clash with a smart watch. With this discreet accessory, you’ll be fully up to date without it being obvious – even on occasions when you wouldn’t want to be holding your mobile anyway, except to take photos.
Monitoring health. Without any self-imposed pressure.
You spend less time on your mobile, but gain more insights. Because the smart ring is more than just a sleep tracker and records a whole host of signals that your body sends out. Whilst you don’t even have to think about it, the ring monitors your vital signs, keeps an eye on your condition, measures your body temperature, heart rate and even your blood oxygen saturation, tracks the quality of your sleep and assesses how well you’ve recovered. Heart rate variability (HRV) allows you to optimise your training sessions in a targeted way and also set reminders for things that matter to you: from appointments to reminders to staying hydrated. You can hardly see the smart ring, but it knows a lot – and simply takes a lot of the thinking off your hands.
The advantage over a fitness watch: the smart health ring alerts you if something is wrong – for example, if your body temperature is particularly high or your pulse is very low. But you don’t have your values constantly in front of you, if only because there isn’t always some sort of display lighting up and tempting you to swipe it. A daily health report also allows you to look back on your day in the evening at your leisure and then plan ahead for the next day, if you wish.
Feeling unwell, fever? The smart ring measures your temperature
A low or elevated body temperature is one of the most important measurable bodily signals. Minor fluctuations of up to 1 °C are perfectly normal and are part of the natural daily cycle. Significant, persistent deviations, on the other hand, are signs of health-related causes – e.g. infections, inflammatory diseases or circulatory weakness – and with the Hama "One" Smart Ring, they can possibly be detected earlier. The health ring records your temperature throughout the day and up to 6 times per hour. In the "Hama Active" smart ring app, you can set the intervals yourself, and you’ll also find a full summary there – all without a subscription.
At your best: smart ring for sport and fitness
The Hama "One" Smart Ring is a truly smart companion when you’re doing sport, too. Among other things, the fitness ring tracks your steps, exercise sessions and speed, calories burnt and your heart rate over time. Using this data, the health ring calculates your fitness status, recovery score and performance history. That way, it won’t distract you and you can stay fully focused. What’s more, afterwards you’ll still have a complete overview and be able to see your progress – not just from the burning muscles, but also neatly recorded in the app.
Your sport, your achievements
The choice is yours: you can train specifically in as many as 120 sports using the "One" smart ring on your finger. For 6 sports modes, the mobile phone doesn’t even need to be connected directly: when running outdoors, you can go completely out of mobile phone range; the fitness ring will store the data temporarily and synchronise it with your smartphone once your workout is finished. Whichever sport you choose, the basic principle remains the same – whether it’s running, swimming or yoga, from aqua fitness to Zumba: to track your sport, simply select the activity in the app and start it, put your mobile away and get going. After all, you don’t need your mobile phone whilst you’re training anyway.
Suitable for swimming? Yes, suitable for swimming.
You can practically always keep the Hama "One" Smart Ring on – even when you go for a swim, have a shower or take a dip in the lake to cool off, you don’t need to take the sturdy ring off. Thanks to IP68 water resistance and 5 ATM, you can easily take it into the water, go sailing and snorkelling, and do plenty more besides. When you get out of the water and the ring is back within Bluetooth range of your mobile, they’ll connect to each other, you’ll start receiving vibration notifications again, and you can easily synchronise your health data in the app. This means that the unassuming smart ring replaces the smart watch or other bulkier gadgets, offering discreet tracking without a fitness tracker for both men and women. That’s innovation in action – and built to last.
Small ring, powerful battery
Lasts for days without charging: Hama’s small, smart ring, the "One", has an impressive battery life of 4 days. You can check exactly how long the battery will last in the "Hama Active" smart ring app on your mobile. Your smart wearable will also alert you in good time when the battery is running low – via a notification (vibration) and a red light on the inside of the ring. You don’t even have to wait long whilst it’s charging: within 2 hours, the Pulse ring is back to 100 per cent, conveniently placed in the charging case. It’s also brilliant for a quick break – just take off the smart ring when you pop into the sauna. What's more: the small charging case has its own power bank, which can fully recharge the smart ring battery five times. This means you can get a total of 4 + 20 days’ battery life whilst on the go before the charging case itself needs recharging.
